Cathay Pacific Honoured at Skytrax World Airline Awards

Hong Kong’s national carrier Cathay Pacific Airways has been awarded two of the top honours at the annual Skytrax World Airline Awards at the Paris Air Show. The awards were accepted by Cathay Pacific’s Chief Executive John Slosar.

Cathay Pacific received the ‘World’s Best Cabin Staff’ and ‘Best Transpacific Airline’ awards, a result of the comprehensive customer satisfaction survey run by Skytrax, which this year saw more than 18 million global travellers vote for their favourite travel experiences. On accepting the accolades, Mr Slosar said “I believe that the Cathay Pacific team is the best and it is fantastic to see that our passengers see it the same way. I would certainly like to congratulate out cabin crew and everyone else in the Cathay Pacific team who make our award-winning service happen each and every day.”

Cathay Pacific has been the home airline of Hong Kong since 1946. Its cabin crew represents over a dozen countries and territories from around the world.
