Frégate Island Private Brings New Ayurvedic Experiences to the Seychelles

The Seychelles’ Frégate Island Private will bring a brand new wellness experience to the Indian Ocean nation this June, when the eminent Ayurvedic physician Dr. Abhilash Haridas implements a unique new program at the island’s spectacular Rock Spa.
The new wellness program has been designed by Dr. Haridas to be a holistic wellness experience. On their arrival, guests will have an initial consultation with Dr. Haridas, who will create a truly bespoke program. After the initial consultation, guests can choose a three-day Ayurvedic experience, or extend the experience for the full duration of their stay on the island. The highly-individualised program is designed to ensure that each guest achieves a balance between mind and body through a combination of Ayurvedic therapies and personalised cuisine.

Guests’ programs may include Ayurvedic therapies such as Shiro dhara, Kati Basti and Pinda Sweda, which will be complemented by bespoke Ayurvedic cuisine, designed in consultation with Frégate’s executive chef, Arnaud Davin. The menus’ focus is on fresh local ingredients from the island’s own plantation, or caught just a few miles off its shores.
