Ritz-Carlton Opens in Abu Dhabi

After much anticipation, The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal opened its doors this month as the brand's first property in the Emirate.

Inspired by Renaissance architecture and the city of Venice, the hotel is located on the waterfront and consists of ten stately building arranged in a crescent. The property features a 1,600 square meter pool, 447 luxurious guestrooms and 85 one-and-two bedroom villas. The majestic Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque provides the backdrop for the hotel.

The Ritz-Carlton Club Level, an exclusive floor accessible only by elevator key, provides a dedicated concierge, five food and beverage offerings a day and boasts panoramic views of the property, canal and city.

The elegant Roma Ballroom can accommodate up to 900 guests in its 1,550 square meters and is divisible into three smaller areas, while 14 meeting rooms meet the needs of business travellers.

The hotel has ten restaurants and bars, including three signature restaurants created by award-winning Japanese designer Super Potato.
