Juvenia Debuts Sextant III

Juvenia has launched the third edition of its iconic Sextant watch. The Sextant III will be slightly bigger than its predecessor, with the case diameter enlarged from 34mm to 40mm. It also features a date indicator next to the 3 o’clock mark.

Juvenia is credited with creating some of the first key winding systems ever used, and in 1914, they introduced the smallest watch movement ever: a mere 2.5mm thin and 9.5mm wide. To properly showcase the elegant mechanical automatic movement they developed, JUVENIA’s Sextant III also has a transparent case back.

Juvenia has been producing innovative luxury timepieces for over a century. Its headquarter is still in La-Chaux-de-Fonds, the town where Jacques Didisheim founded the company. The first Sextant watch was introduced in the 1940s and featured a “handless” display with a “graduated limb’ indicating hours, a “compass” hand indicating minutes, and a “Dauphine” sweep second hand. The watch is coveted by watch collectors and celebrities alike.
