Big Plans for Le Meridien

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts will open nine new hotels in the next 12 months as part of an aggressive expansion plan. The new openings include the Le Méridien Bali Jimbaran, which has just opened on Indonesia's favourite holiday island, and features a large-scale lagoon with direct access from some guestrooms, as well as several signature bar and restaurant experiences. The hotel's 118 guest rooms includes rooftop penthouses and villas with private plunge pools.

This month the Le Méridien Atlanta Perimeter opened after a multi-million dollar, 18-month renovation. Located in the heart of Dunwoody, just minutes from downtown Atlanta, the hotel features 275 oversized guest rooms and suites, a ground floor bar and restaurant with outdoor seating, fitness center, pool, and state-of-the-art meeting space.

Le Méridien Zhengzhou will open in May and will offer a sophisticated gateway to the city. Chinese, Japanese, and European specialties are served in modern restaurants with private rooms, complemented by a designated wine room, a cocktail bar, and a coffee hub. The 350 spacious guest rooms and suites feature contemporary art elements with a local touch, as well as modern furniture and the inviting Le Méridien bed. The contemporary bathroom comprises a deep French-style bathtub and a rainforest showerhead.

Le Méridien Saigon opens in June and is situated beside the Saigon River, close to various entertainment and commercial areas. For a relaxing escape from business or sightseeing, Explore Spa offers guests a range of treatments to calm the body and mind. The 350 modern guest rooms and suites boast river views, while sleek contemporary furnishings offer a restful retreat or serene productivity.

Other openings will take place in Dhaka, Bangladesh; Cairo, Egypt; Qingdao, China; and Chicago, USA. www.lemeridien.com
