A Feast for the Senses

The JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa, SALA Phuket Resort and Spa Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa, and Anantara Phuket Villas - the four luxury resorts making up the North Phuket Resorts alliance – recently hosted the successful North Phuket Culinary Arts Festival. The annual event promotes the Mai Khao area of northern Phuket as an idyllic destination of sophistication, relaxation and privacy.

The third edition of this popular event, the North Phuket Culinary Arts Festival 2012 took place from November 30 to December 2, 2012. Each of the four resorts hosted wonderful culinary occasions on different days of the festival, including the epic 'longest dining table', which stretched along the beach between SALA Phuket Resort and Spa and Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa, as well as a gourmet wine dinner at Anantara Phuket Villas' Sea Fire Salt restaurant. JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa staged The Brunch of Your Life at its Lotus Pavilion, featuring a bounty of fine cuisine from the resort's many restaurants including Cucina (Italian), Andaman Grill (steak and seafood), Kabuki Japanese Cuisine Theatre and Ginja Taste (Thai).

“Easily accessible through Phuket International Airport, north Phuket offers domestic and international travellers outstanding luxury resorts in picturesque locations, and an abundance of sea and land based sightseeing and activities,” commented JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa's General Manager Tony Pedroni. “Canoeing, cruising, yacht charters, fishing, diving, cycling, trekking, golf, shopping. It's all here, along of course with outstanding dining and recreational facilities at each resort.”

Plans are already underway for the 2013 North Phuket festival, which will showcase the many varied restaurants and food & beverage facilities of the resorts, which work together to promote the destination of North Phuket.
