Hong Kong's 208 Duecento Otto

If you have a true hunger, Hong Kong's 208 Duecento Otto’s has created an exciting new rustic Italian signature dish, the Leg of Beast, as part of a full-bodied set menu or a la carte when dining in groups of 8 or above. Requiring a week's notice, the slow-cooked braised shin of beef with roasted bone marrow, vegetables and herbs; or rosemary roasted whole leg of lamb with rosemary gravy make for the perfect centerpiece of a three-course menu, which also consists of authentic salumi e antipasti, contorni and dolce. The slow-cooked braised beef is the highest quality beef weighing 3--4 kg (including the bone). Slow braised and marinated in red wine, rosemary, thyme, carrot, celery and onion for six hours, the sumptuous dish boasts a rich fresh finger-licking flavour. Another tempting carnivorous option; the 3kg rosemary roasted lamb, seasoned with rosemary and garlic and slow-roasted at 140ºC for one and a half hours, is accompanied with Contorni including Crispy Prosecco potatoes, sauteed broccolini with garlic, anchovies and thyme, tomato salsa and roasted bone marrow with rosemary. All of the set menus include delicious dolce including gelati e sorbetti misti, warm venchi chocolate pudding, rhubarb compote and vanilla ice cream, Pastiera Napoletana and home-made ricotta cake with limoncello sauce.
