Its easy to spoil mothers on their special day of the year with new Mother's Day promotions at the W Taipei's Kitchen Table or Yen Chinese restaurants. The mother’s day special menu at The Kitchen Table (From TWD1,500++) features an extensive seafood station with king crabs, scallops, shrimps, and live oysters, as well as fat juicy clams cooked with lemongrass, chili crabs and bouillabaisse. There is also a dedicated sushi station and a carvery with prime rib au jus and baked leg of lamb. Highlight of the meal will come from the sumptuous dessert station, featuring Yuze flavor macaroons, chocolate bonbon matrix, chocolate puffs, and pistachio cakes. At Yen Chinese executive chef C.K. Kong has designed an indulgent menu (TWD2,500++) that features morel mushrooms in moon fish chicken consommé; giant garoupa served with pickled olives and black beans; and bird’s nest in pumpkin coconut milk. For an after-meal perk, the hotel's Away Spa has created a special package (TWD6,000++) that includes a session in a private jacuzzi, and a 120-minute body refuel and anti-aging treatment that's bound to have her feeling energised and alive.
