Desert Islands

A new state-of-the-art stables facility has opened at Abu Dhabi's Desert Islands, meaning guests can now explore Sir Bani Yas Island's 45,000-acre Arabian Safari Park on horseback, with trained guides. The Park is home to endangered Arabian oryx, giraffe, antelope, cheetah and hyenas. Guests can stay at the nearby Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara and spend days learning to ride, tending for the horses and exploring the island's deserted beaches and towering salt mounds from the saddle.
